Your living space rent will include a BONUS: space to generate sales of your products.
Along with your living space, you are entitled to utilize our commercial space.
We will have a shared commercial space both indoors and out, to market wares... hand crafted, created, by you.
THIS IS A NEW ENDEAVOR, this will be a group project, only looking for folks who will contribute and put in their share of effort to make this marketplace/storefront a reality.
The shared sales space will be organized and managed as a group effort. Hoping to offer indoor sales space as well as outdoor sales space roadside and an internet presence for increased sales. BEING LOCATED on a main route in Southern Vermont will mean Tourist sales in particular, but hoping to offer a diversified line of products to suit everyone.
WHO ARE YOU?:
You are someone who is a hard worker, positive thinker, creative person, who is tired of working just to pay rent and working 9-5 with no time or energy left to create and sell your products. You would rather generate income from your handcrafted items. You are someone who likes a decent place to live, believes in group cooperation to generate income as well as to maintain your property and home, is honest and appreciates those same qualities. You have a product, skill or talent that is marketable and sell-able, but you have no place to sell it from, no time to do it on your own. You believe that if you could LIVE and have a STOREFRONT in one place, for the same expense that rent alone would be, that you could work on your dream of selling your products and generate INCOME! You would be happy to work with others who feel the same way in order to improve everyones situation. You currently have an income and/or job and can afford to pay rent and to otherwise support yourself while you work with others to start up this new endeavor.
WHO AM I?
I am someone who owns a building and feels it is a sad shame to see it NOT UTILIZED in a positive way. There is OPPORTUNITY here and it is not being used to its potential. I have had tenants and most did not care to take care of their space, did not care to pay rents as agreed, did not appreciate the opportunity of residing within a commercial location. I could sell it off, but I am hoping to find others who feel as I do and would work together to make it a thriving center for cooperative living and an outlet to generate sales and create profitable income of handcrafted items. Of course I cannot guarantee results... this will totally depend on the group we have and everyones input will effect the outcome. All I can do is provide the opportunity and be a participant just like everyone else. This is not something anyone can do alone. So I am offering my rental units to folks who see the endeavor and wish to participate. Certainly I cannot carry the weight of the expenses alone so the rental units will be rented at a fair market value. The business space and opportunity is offered at no cost to the residents here, the only expenses will be any additional overhead generated once the endeavor is operating, such as utilities expense, advertising expense etc. There will be no additional rental costs to residents for use of any space for business purposes.
**((exception to that will be of course any additional expenses such as utilities incurred by the process of your craft... for example, additional electricity for machinery or lighting required by your craft))

I WANT TO BE INVOLVED BUT DO NOT WANT TO BE A RESIDENT...
At this time, in order to get started I need dedicated people, both residents and non-residents. To get started and keep the building going, we do need residents paying rent so that we can exist, or there would be no marketplace here either. SO first and foremost we need residents to get the bills paid, but welcome members who want to participate in the marketplace but not the become residents. If you fill out the form at the bottom of the page I will answer any questions you may all have and let you know the date of the next get together aimed at getting things going!

TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE... if I do not get good response to this campaign I will sadly be closing up shop and the opportunity of this building will be lost. So if you are AT ALL interested drop a line!
This is a fall foliage picture of our building... beyond that grass is the main route 7 which divides us from this side of the road. We are located in Southern Vermont ten minutes north of Manchester. I have to find a bigger photo, this one will not allow me to enlarge it, sorry.
